Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Meadowbrook, PA. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve quality of life for patients/residents.

Typical schedule is 24 hours per week and onsite at Holy Redeemer Hospital. Responsibilities include educating the care team, adhering to practice standards, coordinating with dining services, and contributing to quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Actively participate in development, review and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
