Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for the Meadowbrook, PA healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions to achieve nutritional status, and contribute to residents’ quality of life aligned with goals. Typical schedule: 24 hours per week.

The role involves providing nutritional expertise to the care team, adhering to standards, and supporting quality improvement initiatives in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
• Passed the national examination administered by the CDR or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR requirements
• Licensed or certified per state requirements
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care (nice-to-have)

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents and staff
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to establish procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition
• Participate in development and review of continuous quality improvement programs
