Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Parsons, KS. You will assess nutritional needs of residents, initiate interventions, and enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals. The role offers flexible hours and a supportive team within a Cura Hospitality facility.

The ideal candidate will hold a nutrition degree, advanced credentials, and licensure, with a track record of teaching and regulatory compliance in healthcare nutrition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• CDR national exam passed or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years with the CDR process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies in dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
