Cura Hospitality is hiring a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Parsons, KS. You will assess nutritional needs of residents, initiate interventions to optimize status, and contribute to quality of life aligned with patient goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (pre-2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to educate others on nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of quality improvement programs.
