Zusammenfassung

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) Wichita office is seeking a Refugee Health Promotion Assistant to support health literacy, access to care, and outreach for refugee and ORR-eligible populations. This part-time, limited-term role runs through September 30, 2027, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

You will coordinate enrollment, intake, and program orientation, assist clients in navigating healthcare services, and work with the Health and Wellness Coordinator on

Qualifikationen

• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully in cross-cultural environment.
• Solid organizational skills with ability to multi-task, set priorities, manage time and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); English fluency; another language preferred compatible with IRC populations.

Aufgaben

• Work across program teams to determine health care needs and gaps in services.
• Assist with enrollment, eligibility verification, and program orientation activities.
• Assist clients in accessing primary care, specialty care, behavioral health, dental, vision, and preventive health services.
• Support scheduling of medical appointments and follow-up care.
• Provide interpretation coordination and language access support as needed.
• Maintain confidential client records and ensure compliance with program requirements.
