Greater St. Louis Area Scouting is seeking a part-time Recruiting Assistant to support our mission by managing our applicant tracking system, screening candidates, and representing our organization at local career events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; current college students or recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quick learner of new software/databases.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a people-first attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage time across a 20-hour week.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Occasional travel to event sites within the St. Louis metro area (mileage reimbursement).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update recruitment database and move candidates through the pipeline.
• Review resumes and conduct initial screenings to identify suitable candidates.
• Attend local career fairs and community events to promote Scouting as an employer.
• Assist in scheduling interviews between hiring managers and top-tier talent.
• Serve as a professional, welcoming point of contact for applicants.
