Job summary

Jurupa Area Recreation And Park District is seeking a Senior Recreation Leader (Part-Time) to support after-school programs, sports leagues, and community events at multiple centers in Riverside County. Under supervision of the Recreation Coordinator, you will help plan, organize, and deliver engaging activities for all ages, with a focus on safety and guest experience.

These roles may involve weekend/evening hours; pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old at time of application.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• First Aid/CPR certification required or obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead after-school activities and sports programs.
• Instruct and supervise youth and community participants; ensure safety and quality guest experience.
• Assist with JMDC retail operations and animal-related activities as needed.
• Maintain equipment, facilities, and attendance records; support volunteers and staff.
