The City of San Bernardino's Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department is seeking energetic part-time Recreation Leaders to support aquatic programming, community centers, and daily operations.

The role focuses on organizing and leading recreational activities for participants of all ages, maintaining safety, guiding aides and volunteers, and delivering friendly, responsive customer service in a busy city environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED.
• Six months' paid experience in customer service or recreation programs.
• One year of volunteer services in customer service or recreation programs.

Responsibilities

• Organize, direct and lead recreational activities for participants of all ages.
• Promote a safe and welcoming environment and provide guidance to Recreation Aides and volunteers.
