Job summary

The City of San Bernardino is seeking energetic, customer service–oriented individuals to serve as part-time Recreation Leaders at City community centers. You will organize and lead recreational programs and events, promote a safe, welcoming environment, and may guide Recreation Aides and volunteers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of paid customer service or recreation experience (or one year of volunteer service).

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED and six months' paid experience in customer service or recreation programs or one (1) year of volunteer services in customer service or recreation programs.

Responsibilities

• Organize, direct and lead a group of participants in recreational activities.
• Welcome participants, answer questions, and lead activities or events.
• Monitor safety, resolve minor issues, and maintain program records.
