Job summary

Fastenal is hiring for a Part-time Receiving position at our 6003 Guion Rd distribution center in Indianapolis. You will verify incoming inventory and prepare items for transfer to the next department, using RF scanners and labeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product.
• Unloading product.
• Inspecting orders to ensure accuracy of shipment and reporting discrepancies.
• Inspecting product for quality and accuracy.
• Using a scale for weighing product.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations.
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives.
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings.
