Job summary

Fastenal Co. is hiring for a part-time Shipping position at our Indianapolis distribution center. Shifts include overnight and daytime blocks with up to 28 hours per week, focusing on labeling, loading, and organizing outgoing orders.

Responsibilities include operating RF scanners, inspecting products, sorting and stacking, and ensuring safe, efficient shipment processes. Candidates should be detail-oriented, with basic computer skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate RF scanners, printers and label products.
• Inspect products for damage and document discrepancies.
• Sort products into correct locations and stack efficiently.
• Consolidate, load and unload shipments.
• Use load reports to locate products for outgoing shipments.
• Ensure proper load securement for transport.
