Job summary

Catapult Learning is seeking a part-time Early Literacy Tutor in Saugus, MA to provide contracted instruction in reading, math, and writing. You will diagnose gaps, coordinate with school staff, and communicate progress to families while delivering the company’s instructional models.

Position offers part-time hours, professional development, and ongoing support. The program supports students at partner schools with a flexible, student-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors: associate degree or 48 semester hours completed.
• Licensed tutors: MA-licensed teacher credentials required.
• FBI/BCI background check required.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instruction.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services.
• Communicate student progress with parents.
• Deliver prescribed instructional methods across reading, math, and writing.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
• Ensure student supervision and safety during sessions.
