Job summary

Catapult Learning in Northbridge, MA is seeking an Early Literacy Tutor (Part-Time) to support students with reading, mathematics, and writing using our proven curriculum.

You will be an advocate and mentor, delivering prescribed instructional methods, and collaborating with school staff and families to track progress. This role offers part-time hours at USD 35–36 per hour with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors: associate degree or at least two years of college
• Licensed tutors: MA teaching credentials recognized by the State of MA
• Must complete FBI/BCI background check
• Teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed methods
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services
• Communicate progress to parents
• Deliver prescribed instructional methods and use company materials
• Attend training and implement instructional models in reading, math, and writing
• Develop individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans
• Supervise students during sessions
• Maintain student files and participate in required meetings
