Job summary

Weber School District's H. Guy Child Elementary seeks a Part-Time Literacy Aide to provide targeted reading support for students in grades K–3.

You will implement evidence-based interventions, coordinate with teachers, and help maintain reading plans with ongoing progress data. Responsibilities include collaborating with the literacy coach, contributing to data-driven instruction, and participating in training to align with the Science of Reading.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience supporting reading instruction is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based reading interventions a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based reading interventions aligned with the Science of Reading for K–3 students.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and the literacy coach to ensure fidelity with Individualized Reading Plans.
• Assist with literacy activities, data collection, and progress monitoring for reading plans.
