Job summary

Children’s Specialized ABA in Hyattsville, MD, is seeking a Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with ASD, in-home or clinic-based, under supervision by a BCBA.

Not yet certified? Training and the RBT exam cost are covered to help you start. You’ll help build communication, social, and daily living skills, earn competitive hourly pay, travel between clients within about 20 miles, and enjoy weekly BCBA supervision and growing career paths.

Qualifications

• RBT certification preferred but not required; training provided.
• Prior experience working with children, ASD experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in-home or clinic-based.
• Implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans.
• Use electronic tools such as CentralReach to conduct preference assessments and track data.
• Collaborate in clinical meetings and receive ongoing feedback and supervision.
• Maintain program books and develop teaching materials.
• Communicate progress to parents and caregivers.
• Provide basic care (e.g., toileting, eating) as needed.
