Job summary

Laurel School in Beachwood, OH seeks an experienced Blackbaud Raiser's Edge Database professional to provide immediate, part-time gift processing support for the Development team. This temporary role (4–6 months, with potential for temp-to-hire) focuses on accurate gift records, acknowledgments, and donor stewardship, with a flexible schedule and work location to be determined.

You will manage gifts, pledges, recurring gifts, and related transactions, generate lists and reports, and collaborate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Hands-on Raiser's Edge experience with gift processing and data quality.
Experience managing nonprofit gift processing, acknowledgments, and reconciliation.
Ability to learn Laurel's procedures with limited training.
Strong organizational and communication skills; donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

Process and record gifts, pledges, payments, and recurring gifts in Raiser's Edge.
Prepare batches, review exceptions, and maintain supporting docs.
Apply funds, campaigns, soft credits, and donor attribution.
Reconcile gifts from online giving, ACH/EFT, payroll deductions.
Send timely acknowledgments using templates; support reminders.
Coordinate deposits, posting, and audit docs with Business Office.
Create segmented lists, queries, exports, and reports for stewardship.
Maintain constituent records and giving history; update student/alum records.
Provide day-to-day Raiser's Edge assistance and routine reports.
