Job summary

Highmark Health seeks a Radiology Technologist for Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, on-site and part-time, to perform radiographic imaging with independent judgment and attention to patient safety.

Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent, ARRT eligibility within 6 months, CPR certification, and required clearances. Sign-on bonus of $15,000 with a 3-year commitment is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience.
• ARRT Radiography certification required within 6 months of hire (prior to Apr 2026 incumbents have 12 months).
• CPR – American Heart Association.
• Act 34/33/73 FBI/clearance requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures.
• Analyzes results and ensures image quality; resolves issues.
• Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
• Prepares and, if ordered, administers contrast media within scope.
• Adheres to safety standards and performs quality control on equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and reports issues.
