Qualifications

• Two years experience as a unit support worker in DJFS programs.
• Undergraduate major core in behavioral/social science/education with related coursework.
• Two years technical education in behavioral or social science with related coursework.
• Two years or more in behavioral/social science, customer service, or related studies with supporting courses.

Responsibilities

• Determine initial and ongoing public assistance program eligibility.
• Manage high volume inquiries by phone, fax, email, mail, and in person.
• Conduct interactive interviews with applicants or representatives.
• Perform caseload management and case banking for assigned cases.
• Use caseload software to interview, approve, or adjust cases and review daily alerts.
