Job summary

Clermont County is seeking an Employment Services Consultant to administer federal and state programs (OWF, SNAP E&T, CCMEP, WIOA) from intake to closure. The role involves interview planning, eligibility, assessments, and coordinating services to help participants achieve self-sufficiency.

You will manage agreements (ITA, SSC, Employability Plans, IOP) with customers, schools, and employers, and maintain data across ARIES/CFIS/CFX systems while preparing required documentation and reports.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
• One year of experience as an employment service consultant or two years as a unit support worker in employment services.
• Undergraduate core coursework in behavioral/social science, two courses or twelve months interviewing techniques, and two courses or twelve months experience in typing, keyboarding, database and spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
• Two years of technical education in behavioral/social science, two courses or twelve months interviewing techniques, and two courses or twelve months typing, keyboarding, database and spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
• Two courses or twelve months experience in behavioral science, social science, or customer service techniques, one course or six months experience in business mathematics, one course or six months experience in Business English, two courses or twelve months interviewing techniques, and two courses or twelve months experience in typing, keyboarding, database and spreadsheets, Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer programs such as OWF, SNAP E&T, CCMEP, WIOA, and the Benefit Bridge/transition program from referral through completion.
• Conduct interviews, eligibility determinations, assessments, and identify customer barriers.
• Develop center education, employment plan/activities in accordance with regulations; facilitate services and partnerships.
• Coordinate ITAs, SSCs, Employability Plans, and IOPs with customers, schools, employers, and partners.
• Monitor, track, and report data in ARIES, CFIS, OBWP, CFIS, Excel, Access, SharePoint; maintain case notes and documentation.
• Arrange job-related workshops and travel as needed.
