Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our mobile outpatient therapy team in Dracut, MA, with service to surrounding towns. Dual NH/MA licensing is a plus to support care in Pelham and Salem, NH.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to patients’ residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends/participates in patient care and staffing conferences under the physical therapist's direction.
• Adheres to the department schedule, and completes timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to implement patient programs and activities.
• Assists the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in PT techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all treated patients.
• Cleans and reports needs for equipment repair.
• Prioritizes patient service with compassionate care.
• Executes individualized treatment plans created by the PT.
• Provides treatments including therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy, gait training, and wellness.
