The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified psychiatrist to work part-time on site at the Ohio State Penitentiary. You will treat a caseload of male patients as part of a multidisciplinary team with clinical support from leadership.

Schedule is Weekdays with no nights or holidays; flexible based on operational needs. Responsibilities include examinations, reports, diagnosing, medication management, and on-call collaboration as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate to practice medicine in state of Ohio as issued by State Medical Board.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in psychiatry.

Aufgaben

• Work with a multidisciplinary treatment team to treat male behavioral health patients.
• Conduct exams and write evaluations and reports.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
• Manage medications and treatment plans.
• Provide or share institutional 24-hour on-call duties as needed.
