Job summary

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified psychiatrist to work part-time on site at the Dayton Correctional Institution. The selected physician will treat a caseload of female patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with clinical support from a leadership group. Weekdays; no nights; no holidays.

Qualifications

• Board eligibility or board certification in psychiatry.
• Experience in clinical psychiatry preferred, especially in corrections.
• Active Ohio medical license is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with treatment team to provide behavioral health care.
• Conduct exams and write evaluations and reports.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
• Manage psychiatric medications.
• Provide on-call coverage as needed.
