Job summary

The State of Ohio, via the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, seeks a board-eligible or board-certified psychiatrist to work part-time on site at Warren Correctional Institution in Lebanon, OH. The physician will manage a male patient caseload alongside a psychiatric‑mental health nurse practitioner as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Clinical support comes from a central leadership team, offering a good work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified psychiatrist in psychiatry.
• Part-time on-site at Warren Correctional Institution.
• Treat a caseload of male patients with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment for behavioral health patients per standards.
• Conduct exams and write evaluations/reports.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
• Manage medications.
• Refer for specialized care as needed.
• Adhere to scope of practice and ACA standards.
• Participate in QA meetings and peer reviews.
• May share 24-hour on-call duties as needed.
• Engage in collaborative agreements as needed.
