Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in psychiatry.
• Part-time, on-site at Ohio State Penitentiary.
• Certificates to practice medicine in Ohio required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to male inmates as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct examinations, write evaluations and reports.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and manage medications.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other clinicians.
• Participate in quality improvement and on-call duties as needed.
