Job summary

Community Realty Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. The role reports to the Community Manager, with a focus on supervising maintenance staff, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating day-to-day upkeep of multifamily properties.

Part-time, 20 hours weekly, with overtime eligibility considerations. Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 3–4 years of related maintenance experience, preferably in commercial or multi-unit residential settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3–4 years of related experience may offset education.
• Experience in commercial or multi-unit residential property is desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication; maintains licenses/certifications in building trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, fire protection or mechanical).

Responsibilities

• Implement and supervise preventive maintenance; oversee upkeep of buildings and equipment.
• Provide coverage for emergencies and coordinate absences with the Community Manager.
• Inspect facilities; communicate deficiencies and deferred maintenance.
• Supervise Maintenance Technicians; direct and guide the team.
• Ensure timely completion of repairs and work orders; maintain master log.
• Maintain grounds and public areas; monitor cleanliness and upkeep.
