Job summary

Cottages at Nolte Farms is seeking a dependable, hands-on Part-Time Maintenance / Porter to keep our build-to-rent community clean and well-maintained. This role focuses on day-to-day upkeep, groundskeeping, and assisting with vendor repairs, with major repairs handled by builders or warranty companies.

The ideal candidate is reliable, can work independently, and is comfortable using basic hand and power tools outdoors in varying weather. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Reliable, mechanically inclined and willing to learn.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Professional communication with residents and vendors.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and exteriors to look welcoming.
• Keep dumpster/trash areas clean and free of debris.
• Perform light maintenance and basic repairs, e.g., changing bulbs/filters.
• Inspect vacant homes and assist with move-ins preparation.
• Assist with vendor and warranty-related repairs when needed.
• Support pool, amenities, and property signage as required.
• Keep maintenance storage areas organized and stocked.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests with courtesy to residents.
