Centerboard Inc. is seeking part-time overnight Program Site Staff in Beverly, MA, to help ensure safe and secure operations for residents of the Scattered Sites Program. The role involves monitoring buildings, completing rounds, and reporting incidents.

You will receive new families, mediate tenant concerns, and assist with maintenance coordination while keeping common areas clean and secure through your shift. Prior housing services experience and strong communication are valued.

• Requires high school diploma or GED or some college.
• Two years' experience in housing services, residential programs or public contact.
• Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Able to relate to people with clear written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Provide onsite assistance to program residents in the Scattered Sites Program and monitor safety.
• Complete building rounds every two hours during overnight shifts.
• Prepare shift and incident reports for each shift.
• Receive new families for placement and ensure common areas and hallways are clear of personal belongings.
• Maintain access keys in locked key box and monitor visiting guidelines.
• Mediate tenant concerns and monitor the security system for issues or concerns.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and contact maintenance or landlord as required.
• Clean units after families exit shelter and verify cash in laundry lockbox with previous shift staff.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe primary focus of the Program Site Staff is to provide onsite assistance to program residents in the Scattered Sites Program. This position will focus on maintaining the safety, security and ensuring program guidelines are adhered to. The program staff will monitor the buildings and activities during shift to ensure a safe and secure operation and make the appropriate alerts or calls when or if an incident occurs.We are looking to hire 2 part-time overnight Program Site Staff for the following shifts:Sunday through Wednesday: 12AM to 8AMThursday through Saturday: 12AM to 8AMESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*Ensure the cleanliness of common areas.Must remain alert and avoid any appearance of sleeping shifts.Each shift will complete building rounds every two hours.Complete shift and incident reports for each shift.Report any maintenance requests or call for emergency maintenance as required.Receive new families for placement as needed.Responsible for ensuring families keep common area and hallways free form all personal belongings.Maintain keys for units in locked key box.Ensure visiting guidelines are adhered to.Mediate tenant concerns that may arise on shift.Monitor security system and report any issues or specific concerns.Utilize email, phone and written means of communication.Other duties and assignments as requested.Clean units once families exit shelterAssess any maintenance issues reported by families after hours by entering the affected units and thereafter contact landlord or Centerboard’s maintenance crew.Ensure accuracy of the cash in the “laundry lockbox” by completing a double count with staff from pervious shift- report any discrepancies to a supervisor immediately.Any other tasks or duties as required for program operations.COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONSThis position requires a high school diploma/GED or some college proffered. Two years experience working in housing services, residential programs or public contact. Candidate must possess strong communication, ability to problem solve and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record preferred. Able to relate to people; written and verbal communication skills.PREPARATION, SKILLS & TRAININGS REQUIREDProgram Site Staff must attend and successfully complete Centerboard training in Orientation, OSHA, HIPAA and CPR & First Aid and any other related training offered and deemed necessary for job requirements by Centerboard, Inc. Must be able to exhibit competencies of skills gained through trainings as a requirement of the position. Must know how to use Microsoft Outlook application including email, word and excel. A basic understanding of other computer applications for data entry is preferred.
