Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• 2 years in housing services, residential programs, or public contact.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security during overnight shifts.
• Complete shift and incident reports for each shift.
• Monitor buildings and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with keeping common areas clean and free of personal belongings.
• Receive new families for placement and coordinate with maintenance as needed.
• Maintain keys securely and ensure visiting guidelines are followed.
• Mediate tenant concerns that may arise during shift.
• Monitor security systems and report issues.
• Use email, phone and written communications.
• Perform other assigned duties for program operations.
• Clean units after families exit shelter.
