Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader in California to guide a group of 20-25 students in an in-person setting. You will enforce safety standards, serve as a positive role model, and help students with homework, enrichment activities, and physical activity using provided curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, 6+ months experience with groups of 10+ students, and strong English communication skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with 10+ students in afterschool or recreation programs preferred.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bi-literate in Spanish preferred.
• Pass Live Scan background check and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students in an in-person setting with high standards for behavior and safety.
• Model safe, respectful, and responsible behavior and foster a positive environment.
• Provide homework help, academic enrichment, and physical activity using program materials.
• Set up and clean up, manage sign-in sheets and maintain classroom order.
• Identify student needs and communicate with site staff and parents as appropriate.
• Participate in staff development.
