Produce Clerk Job Description

This is a part-time position with the primary responsibility of providing excellent customer service by satisfying customer needs and exceeding expectations. Responsibilities include product knowledge, food preparation, sales, customer relations, and teamwork to create a positive shopping environment.

Key duties involve processing, packaging, and stocking produce according to standards, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage. When assigned, perform floral clerk duties as well.

Qualifications and Skills

• Personal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to participate in training and teamwork.
• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent.

• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction with money and weights.
