Advocate Health's Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Pharmacy is seeking a clinical pharmacist for a part-time PRN role at the Winston Campus. The position oversees medication therapy, counsels patients and caregivers, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective pharmacotherapy.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy (Pharm.D. or B.S.), and an active North Carolina pharmacist license.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is required.
• Current state pharmacist license in good standing through North Carolina Board of Pharmacy is required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, including literature review and designing medication therapy regimens.
• Provides patient education on medication therapy, adverse effects, compliance and administration.
• Designs and monitors patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens based on biomedical literature; implements recommendations.
• Reviews and interprets medication orders and prescriptions accurately.
• Participates in medical emergencies when applicable and supports medication safety quality initiatives.
• Mentors pharmacy teammates and serves as a preceptor for students and residents.
