Advocate Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist (PRN) for the Winston Campus in Winston-Salem, NC. The role focuses on clinical pharmacy care, patient counseling, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

The position requires a Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy and a current North Carolina pharmacist license in good standing. PGY1 completion and board certification are preferred but not required. Strong emphasis on patient safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a Pharm.D. or a B.S. in Pharmacy.
• Current NC pharmacist license in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and evaluates literature to design therapy regimens.
• Provides patient and caregiver counseling on medication use, safety, and adherence.
• Designs and monitors patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens per policies.
• Reviews medication orders for accuracy and safety.
• Supports medical emergencies when applicable.
• Participates in medication safety and quality improvement activities.
• Collaborates on formulary management and non-formulary acquisitions.
• Ensures compliance with all regulations and proper drug handling.
• Serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
• Mentors and trains pharmacy teammates as assigned.
