Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is required.
• Current state pharmacist license in good standing through North Carolina Board of Pharmacy is required.
• PGY1 completion is preferred.
• Board Certification is preferred.
• Previous mentorship of pharmacy residents is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, including reviewing literature and designing medication therapy regimens.
• Provides patient and caregiver counseling on medications, adverse effects, and proper use.
• Designs, monitors, and evaluates patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens.
• Implements recommendations per policies and documents appropriately.
• Reviews and interprets medication orders and prescriptions.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities.
