Job summary

FullStack Labs seeks a Part-time Principal AI Engineer (Agentic AI) / Tech Lead to join as a remote contributor for USA-based projects. You will integrate into client teams or work on FullStack products, leading end-to-end delivery of advanced AI capabilities.

The role requires strong architectural skills, production-grade AI experience, and collaboration with clients, engineers, and designers across time zones. A four-year degree and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering end-to-end architecture.
• Advanced English required.
• Four-year college degree required.
• Expertise in designing and shipping production-grade agentic AI applications and complex LLM architectures.
• Experience integrating LLM provider APIs, autonomous agent frameworks, and custom tool-calling mechanisms.
• Technical liaison with clients to scope work and own end-to-end delivery.
• Strong background in system architecture, distributed systems, and modern API integrations.
• Ownership of CI/CD deployment pipelines, automated testing, and AI workflow resilience.
• Availability to work 20+ hours per week overlapping US Pacific Time.
