FullStack Labs, Inc. in the United States offers a Part-time Principal AI Engineer (Agentic AI) / Tech Lead role supporting remote engagements. You will work with clients either via team augmentation or design & build, guiding architecture and end-to-end delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of software engineering experience, advanced English, a 4-year degree, and proven expertise in agentic AI, LLMs, API integrations, and CI/CD practices. Expect 20+ hours weekly overlap with PT hours.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams through end-to-end technical delivery, defining architecture and roadmaps.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Expertise in designing and shipping production-grade agentic AI applications and complex LLM architectures.
• Has integrated LLM provider APIs, autonomous agent frameworks, and custom tool-calling mechanisms into software products.
• Track record of acting as a technical liaison, interfacing with clients/stakeholders to scope technical work and own end-to-end delivery.
• Solid background in system architecture, distributed systems, and modern API integrations.
• Has owned CI/CD deployment pipelines, automated testing, and failure/retry strategies for AI workflows.
• Availability to work 20+ hours per week overlapping with US Pacific Time (PT) business hours.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
• Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
• Ability to identify with the goals of FullStack's clients and deliver on commitments.
