Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Primavera P6 Administrator to serve as the functional and technical authority for P6 across Manufacturing & Technology projects in Houston. This part-time telework role requires some in-person attendance and focuses on administration, configuration, and support to ensure data integrity and schedule governance.

The role demands a bachelor's degree with 8–10 years of experience (or 12–14 years) and deep knowledge of Primavera P6, DCMA metrics, and project controls

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or international equivalent with 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 administration and enterprise data management.
• Strong CPM scheduling and DCMA 14-Point governing practices.
• Experience with schedule quality analytics and project controls tools.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Primavera P6 environments, databases, EPS/OBS, calendars, and security profiles.
• Configure P6 applications to meet project and client requirements.
• Establish scheduling standards, templates, and resource loading frameworks.
• Conduct schedule health reviews using DCMA 14-Point metrics and governance.
• Document findings, track corrective actions, and support submittals.
• Manage project setup, data configuration, user provisioning, and access controls.
• Administer enterprise resource structures, rates, and resource loading.
• Perform schedule imports/exports, baselines, and data validation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain health.
• Perform periodic schedule quality audits for logic, constraints, and data integrity.
• Coordinate software installations and deployments with IT and vendors.
• Deliver user training and maintain system documentation.
