The role requires meeting New Jersey state requirements, strong communication, and event coordination with district partners. The position emphasizes coaching staff, maintaining records, and ensuring licensing standards are up to date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must meet NJ state requirements including First Aid and CPR certification.
• Education degree and credits per NJ rules with experience.
• Proven experience with children and knowledge of special needs.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, visual) with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace or willingness to learn.
• 18+ years of age.
• Identify and submit proof of MMR.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and joy; oversee staff and attendance protocols.
• Maintain accurate records for check-ins/check-outs and licensing.
• Coach staff to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
• Communicate effectively with families, clients, peers, and children.
• Collaborate with Area Manager to support program goals and changes.

Head Teacher endorsement from NJ Registry
