Job summary

Right At School in New Jersey is seeking an Educator to support before- and after-school programs for children up to 13 years old. The role focuses on safe, engaging activities and everyday curriculum alignment with program goals.

You will lead daily activities, mentor students, and maintain safety protocols while collaborating with staff, families, and school personnel. A year of relevant experience and strong customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years old.
• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lift 25lbs and engage in active activities.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, updates, and progress; encourage collaboration and accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: prepare curriculum and lead structured activities and fitness.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor environment, address hazards, document attendance/incidents.
• Communication: effectively engage children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
