Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager in New Jersey to lead before- and after-school programs, ensuring safe, engaging activities aligned with our mission to inspire learning. You will supervise staff, coordinate curriculums, and maintain compliance while partnering with families and schools.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and child-development knowledge; a high school diploma or GED is required. This is an on-site position with a split shift schedule in Oaklyn area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children and understanding special needs.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality service.
• Excellent oral, written, and visual communication with adults and children.

Responsibilities

• Safety and joy: coach staff, maintain safety/policy standards and foster team cohesion.
• Safety Assurance: support safety protocols and submit proof where required.
• Effective Communication: engage families, partners, peers, and children; respond to inquiries during program hours.
• Documentation and Compliance: maintain attendance records and ensure name-to-face check-ins; support daily activities.
