Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe Los Angeles is seeking a Heart of the House professional to fill Line Cook, Prep Cook, Receiver and Expo roles. This hourly position supports both inside and outside service with a focus on quality, speed and safety in a busy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include receiving orders, prepping to spec, labeling and storing items, and maintaining a clean, organized station. Must be able to lift heavy loads and work 8+ hours, with a friendly, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Standing or moving for up to 8+ hours.
• Lifting and transporting up to 100-pound containers and dish racks.
• Ability to tolerate heat, cold, chemicals and a loud environment.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow uniform guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and ordering product.
• Making prep recipes and menu items to spec.
• Labeling, dating and refrigerating prepped items.
• Setting up, stocking and breaking down kitchen stations.
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area, including dish and back dock.
• Reading order tickets or Kitchen Display System correctly.
• Communicating professionally with staff and guests when needed.
