Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe Los Angeles is seeking a Heart of the House team member to grow through Prep Cook, Line Cook, Receiver and Expo roles. You’ll learn multiple stations and support the café’s daily operations.

This hourly position requires attention to safety, sanitation, and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen, with a pay range of $19–$25 per hour and overtime eligibility. You’ll be expected to lift up to 100 pounds and stand long hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Lifting and transporting up to 100-pound containers, dish racks, and trashcans.
• Standing or moving for up to 8+ hours.
• Following all uniform guidelines and general safety & sanitation standards.
• Demonstrates organization and a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and ordering product.
• Preparing recipes and menu products to spec.
• Labeling, dating, and refrigerating prepped items.
• Opening/closing duties and stocking stations.
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dish areas.
• Communicating professionally with staff and acting as liaison between HOH and FOH.
