Job summary

Tao Group in Los Angeles is seeking a part-time prep/line cook to support a high-volume kitchen. You will prepare hot and cold items, follow recipes, and work with cooks to ensure quality, consistency, and timely production.

Responsibilities include washing and chopping ingredients, maintaining station cleanliness, following FIFO, and communicating needs to chefs and teammates. Previous prep/line cook experience in a fast-paced venue is preferred; candidate must be reliable and a team player.

Qualifications

• Previous prep or line cook experience required.
• Experience in a high-volume culinary operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold meals with quality, consistency, and timely production.
• Wash, chop, and cut food per recipe specifications.
• Maintain station, kitchen, and venue cleanliness and sanitation.
• Label and store products following FIFO and company standards.
• Communicate needs to chefs and team; assist with opening/closing tasks.
