Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe is seeking a hardworking server to join the Terra team. You will deliver engaging service, share detailed descriptions of our offerings, and ensure guest satisfaction in a luxury setting.

Requires 2+ years in high-end restaurant service, NM Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications, and strong English communication. Weekend/holiday availability and the ability to stand for long periods are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a high-end restaurant server or related service.
• Current New Mexico Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand/move for entire shift and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver knowledgeable, engaging service with a full understanding of all food and beverage offerings.
• Continuously expand knowledge of cuisine, wine, and beverages to enhance guest experience.
• Support Terra team by greeting, seating guests when host/ess is unavailable, taking reservations, and operating MICROS POS.
• Maintain on-floor presence, anticipate guest needs, and respond to concerns promptly.
• Accurately close guest checks and process payments per Four Seasons policies.

What would you bring to the table?

• 2+ years of experience as a high-end restaurant server/restaurant service or related work


• Strong F&B knowledge


• Flexible schedule- availability to work weekends and holidays


• Current New Mexico Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications


• Ability to stand and move around the restaurant area for the entire shift


• Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs.


• Proficiency with English communication skills

What would your job responsibilities be?

• Deliver knowledgeable, engaging service with a full understanding of all food and beverage offerings, confidently sharing ingredient details and providing articulate, enticing menu descriptions


• Continuously expand your knowledge of cuisine, wine, and beverage products to enhance the guest experience


• Support the Terra team by completing side work, greeting and seating guests when the host/ess is unavailable, taking reservations, and operating the MICROS point-of-sale system


• Maintain full awareness and presence on the floor, anticipating guest needs and responding promptly and appropriately to any concerns or requests


• Accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; and properly handle voids, corrections, and complimentary items in accordance with Four Seasons policies
