Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care – Cottage on Vine in Murray, UT is seeking a part-time Dietary Cook to prepare meals in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines within the Food Services department, supporting residents and staff. The role requires attention to sanitation, accuracy of recipes, and teamwork in a busy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Current/ Active Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Supervisory experience in dietary/food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus prior to food preparation and prepares the meals.
• Works with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services and implements recommended changes as required. Performs other duties, as assigned.
• Ensures that food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Performs administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc. and submits to the Dietitian/Director of Food Services.
• Assist in establishing food service production line, etc., to assure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepares meals in accordance with planned menus and serves them.
