Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care in West Valley City is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare meals following planned menus and standardized recipes. You will assist the Dietitian and ensure meals are appetizing, served on time, and meet safety and sanitation standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, an active food handler permit, and is at least 18 years old. Prior supervisory experience in a medical facility is preferred, with strong teamwork and food safety focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Current/Active Food Handler's Permit.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• One year dietary/food service supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus prior to food preparation and prepares meals.
• Coordinates with Dietitian/Director of Food Services on changes.
• Prepares meals in accordance with planned menus and recipes.
• Prepares and serves meals on time with proper portions.
• Ensures food procedures follow established policies and safety standards.
• Maintains sanitation, stock levels, and department organization.
