BioLife is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist in Baltimore, MD to join our plasma center team. The role supports donors with professional, courteous service during the donation process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the full shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays worked as needed.
• Able to lean, bend, stoop and reach as required.
• Able to lift 5 lbs and occasional heavier loads up to 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and hearing equipment from a distance.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens with glove use.
• 1+ year in customer or patient facing role helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and program plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime and disconnect disposable sets on machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor vitals and enter data into the system.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and handle compensation via Debit Card.
