Job summary

Takeda, in collaboration with BioLife, seeks a part-time Phlebotomist to support donor services in a Tulsa plasma center. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, accurate sampling, and adherence to safety procedures within a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include welcoming donors, performing venipuncture, monitoring during donation, and maintaining plasmapheresis equipment. Evening, weekend hours are required to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
