Job summary

BioLife is hiring a part‑time phlebotomist in Houston, TX. You will screen donors, perform phlebotomy, and support plasma center operations. The role requires customer service focus, reliable attendance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and cover shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays, contributing to a life‑changing mission through high‑quality donor care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes per procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays to support donors.
