BioLife Plasma Services in Rochester, NY is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to support our plasma collection operations. The role offers 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, with paid, interactive training to start your career in a patient-focused environment.

You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor during donation, operate plasmapheresis equipment, and help maintain center processes. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand/walk for the shift.
• Evening, weekend and holiday availability.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach above shoulders.
• Lift up to 5 lbs, occasional up to 32 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and hearing equipment from distance.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens with glove use.
• 1+ year in customer/patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors entering and exiting the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Setup, verify, operate and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on machines.
• Stock supplies and manage disposal.
• Record donor vitals and use the electronic donor questionnaire system.
• Coordinate donor flow and compensate donors via Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying process improvements.
