Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener to support center operations in Rochester, NY. You will perform phlebotomy duties, screen donors, and maintain accurate records while ensuring a high standard of customer service and safety.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager, work 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, including weekends and holidays, and participate in a paid training program to start strong.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and support center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
